Just a brief update on activity on supporting the mobile library community project.
We are currently testing a community site with a group of beta testers and using this to publish case studies from libraries using mobile technologies in innovative ways. We plan to continue to collect both case studies and guest blog posts throughout the course of the project.
We've also organised an information sharing event to be held in Birmingham in May - we initially opened 50 places but this sold out in less than 24 hrs! We currently have a large waitlist and unfortunately won't be able to offer places to everyone for this event but it's good to know that there is demand for such events and we are now hoping to see if we can organise more events.
I'll post more updates as the project progresses.

Since the one minute madness presentation I gave at the last LIS DREaM workshop, I've been working on the mobile (as in mobile devices!) library community support project.
The project blog is available at http://m-libraries.info (you can subscribe by email or RSS if you are interested).
At the end of last year we ran an online fact finding survey (mainly open questions) and we are currently analysing the responses which will help inform the project and shape its future activities. We had around 184 respondents (mainly from UK but also a number of international responses, particularly Australia, USA and South Africa). We'll be posting a series of blog posts to share some of the information gathered from the survey, and a fuller PDF report in the next few weeks.
If you are interested in utilising mobile technologies in libraries, please do subscribe to the blog and join in the conversation too - share resources using 'mlibs' as a tag on social bookmarking tools, and discuss on Twitter using #mlibs.
